Warwickshire has launched an initiative to develop a county wide coaching programme aimed at identifying and encouraging talented junior golfers. The programme is aimed at boys and girls aged 7 - 15 years, who have talent and interest, but who are not part of the present County squad coaching programme.
The programme swings into action with a series of Open Talent Assessment Days from 26 - 28 October 2009 and involves a two hour session of coaching and assessment run by county coaches. Sessions will be split into long game, short game and putting with skills challenges.
