Warwickshire County Golf Partnership invites applications for the position of

COUNTY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
  • Salary £12,000 per annum based on 21 hours per week (flexible)
  • 12 month renewable contract on a self employed basis 
Helping to deliver the ‘Grow’ and ‘Sustain’ elements of the Whole Sport Plan the Warwickshire County Golf Partnership requires a County Development Officer to join their progressive team.

The position is home based, although the successful candidate will be required to travel as necessary to meetings and work weekends/evenings/school holidays as required (driving license essential).  It is a 12-month renewable contract, 21 hours per week flexible working on a self-employed basis.  The position is entitled to travel and other expenses.  We are seeking candidates, ideally, with a sports related diploma/degree and a general knowledge of golf.  The skills required include the ability to work autonomously, with written, verbal and IT communication skills, be highly motivated and have the ability to work with professionals and volunteers.   

The County Development Officer will be responsible for furthering the aims of golf in Warwickshire by implementing the Warwickshire County Golf Partnership Development Plan.  Prior work experience in fund-raising is desirable.
